If there’s pressure in Hollywood to be stick-thin, Kristin Davis isn’t letting it get to her.

“I have hips!” the actress, 45, and Fitness bikini cover girl says in the magazine’s May issue. “I’m never going to be the thinnest actress, and I don’t want to be. When you’re at peace with yourself and your body, you’re automatically more confident.”

But that doesn’t mean the Sex and the City 2 star doesn’t work hard to get toned and fit. Once an avid runner (she used to do seven miles on a beach before suffering ankle injuries), Davis now turns to the elliptical, yoga, Pilates and even some jumping jacks with resistance bands when she’s on the road traveling.

And when it comes to food, the actress has a few rules she lives by: Keep it healthy (chicken and salmon and side salads) but also indulge once in a while.

“If all I ate were salads ever day, I’d shoot myself,” she says. “Who cares if you can fit in your skinny jeans if you can’t enjoy life and have something good to eat?”

For Davis, that includes chocolate – “I especially love M&M’s,” she says – and ice cream.

“I went through periods when I said I can’t have this, I can’t have that,” she recalls. “Now I don’t deprive myself. Food is meant to be enjoyed.”

The “Sex and the City 2″ official movie soundtrack has finally been announced (it will be for sale May 25), and HOLYOMG, it’s everything we’d hoped for and more. Rump-shaking girl jams by Erykah Badu and Leona Lewis? Check! Brand new music from “SATC” veteran Jennifer Hudson? Check! An all-male choir singing classic love-song standards? Check! And… Liza Minelli doing a jazzed-up cover of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”?

…No, seriously. CHECK! (Now please, please just let there be a photo somewhere of Liza wearing Beyonce’s robot glove.)

The soundtrack, like the movie, looks to be equal parts sentimental and sexy — and it’s pretty much a start-to-finish showcase of top female talent, with the exception of a final track by Aaron Zigman that, per the movie’s desert setting, is hilariously titled “Divas and Dunes.”

But the biggest news from producer Watertower Records is that we’ll get an earful of the “SATC” ladies themselves! The track listing features the vocal talents of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon doing a rendition of the 1970s women’s-lib anthem “I Am Woman,” and sheds a little light on just what’s going on in the photo above of the fab foursome, dressed to the nines and with microphones in hand. Hear them roar, er, sing, when the soundtrack is released on May 25th.

Aidan Shaw returns!

Actor John Corbett, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s other big love on Sex and the City, revealed the big news on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an episode airing March 31.

When Ellen DeGeneres asked Corbett, 48, if he’s appearing in the sequel, he replied, “These rumors started about seven months ago because somebody took a picture of me in Morocco,” where the film shot for weeks.

“I felt really bad because for the last six months every time somebody said, are you in this movie? I had to lie about it.”

The star continued: “I just found out I’m going to be in the trailer so I get to break the news …Aiden gets to come back to Sex and the City.” He didn’t share any plot specifics.

United States of Tara star Corbett didn’t appear in the first Sex film, which focused on Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) disastrous, cancelled marriage to Mr. Big (Chris Noth) and the aftermath.

Sex and the City 2 premieres May 27 and, in addition to the core cast of Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, features cameos by Miley Cyrus, Penelope Cruz and Liza Minnelli.
